Project Description
Location: Ankara, Turkey
Project Scope: Build and design a control system to monitor and control tunnel traffic including:
Traffic lights.
Tunnel Lighting.
Jet fans and CO sensors.
Lanes speed limit and lanes availability.
The scope included various automated lighting options based on the time of the day.
It also included an automated safety feature in case of a road accident which turns on Jet Fans once the CO gas is detected by the CO sensor.
The system also included a manual control faceplate to operate the entire system in case of emergency.
The project was successful an became a template to other similar projects.
