iERP takes the parts, the people and the paperwork a plant already generates and returns the system around them: procurement, inventory, production, quality, assets, and the warranty that outlives the build.
What it does

- QA holds and manufacturing certificates, linked to the serial they belong to rather than filed separately.

- The register that outlasts the build, and the warranty position attached to each serial.
The argument for a system of record is that a fault on a floor is a document somewhere else, and the document is what is left. A station faults, so a housing goes to QA hold, so the manufacturing certificate cannot be issued until it clears — three records, one event.
